My friends and I were very, very pleasantly surprised by this simulated shoot. Beautifully organised — it truly felt like the real thing: fine "coups du roi", crossing birds, and the chance to pull off great doubles — magnificent. The pace was very intense, but we managed well. I'm recommending it to my friends on Facebook: it's ideal to get back in shape before the hunting season, and next year I'll do it once or twice more — I just need to put a group together. Domaine de La Planquette — The passion for high-bird shooting

The editorial team of La Revue Nationale de la Chasse spent a day in the Seven Valleys to observe our approach to the simulated shoot. Four pages on a terrain shaped for hunting, Scottish-inspired shooting butts, Land Rover Defender transfers, and the care given to every detail — fully biodegradable Laporte clays, Mary Arm cartridges with plastic-free wads, in the English manner. Interviews with Frédéric Cathelain, master instructor, and Frédéric Le Gall (Laporte Shooting Sports) on the parallels with game shooting and the rise of the discipline.

Full-day formula

—Day from 9:15am to 6pm
